The Town of Russell owns and operates a campground, boat ramp and harbor docking area, picnic area with beautiful sand swimming beach and sports field and playground area at Little Sand Bay on the shores of Lake Superior. We are located about 15 minutes north of the City of Bayfield at 32665 Little Sand Bay Road, Bayfield, WI 54814.
The campground has 32 RV sites with electric, many are drive through sites. A total of 14 tent only sites are available and one large group site with a gazebo is available. Water spigots are located throughout the campground. Showers, firewood and ice are available to purchase. A RV/trailer dump station is on site as well as garbage dumpsters and recycling containers.
The facilities are also available for group events such as reunions, family gatherings, weddings, sporting events, etc. Please contact reservations for further information regarding your special event.

From Ashland area: Take hwy 13 through Bayfield and Red Cliff Reservation. Continue on 13 and take a right on Old County K. Take another right onto Little Sand Bay Rd which dead ends at the campground.
From Superior Area: Take hwy 13 through Herbster and Cornucopia. Continue on 13 and take a left on Old County K. Take another left onto Little Sand Bay Rd which dead ends at the campground.
