The Town of Russell in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Northwest Region is conducting a Public Involvement Meeting regarding improvements to Little Sand Bay Road and Old County Kin the Town of Russell. The proposed improvements involve the resurfacing of Little Sand Bay Road and Old County K along with shoulder widening. The improvements are proposed on Little Sand Bay Road from Old County K to the north termini at the Little Sand Bay Campground . Improvements are also proposed on Old County K from Little Sand Bay Road to approximately 2,500 feet south of the Emil Road/ Old County K intersection. Construction is currently programmed to occur during the summer of 2020 and would also include other incidental construction activities including culvert repairs, pavement marking, signing and beam guard installations.

Presentation at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and obtain input to assist in the development of the design and final plans. Maps of the project area will be on display with township and design staff on hand to answer questions, and take written and verbal comments.
